Resources-to-Readiness Modeling Our Resources-to-Readiness models are in use for
U.S. Navy aircraft, ships, the shore based establishment, the U.S. Coast Guard, and most
recently, FAA operations. These models are updated yearly. They are used by managers to:
- Develop performance measures and
indicators
- Quantify the impact of resources,
budgets, manpower and operational factors on performance measures and indicators;
- Forecast performance measures and
indicators;
- Analyze trends and anomalies in
performance measures and indicators;
- Perform trade-off analysis among
economic, budget, manpower and operational inputs in terms of improving performance
outputs;
- Establish improved policy formulation
via analysis of the impact of resources inputs on output measures;
- Determine economic, budget, and manpower
requirements necessary to achieve target output measures for various operational
scenarios.
