Mathtech possesses considerable capabilities in the area of computer systems. Included are applications development, business reengineering analyses, budget development and project execution, project management, accounting, acquisition management and life cycle cost estimation. Mathtech offers systems integration across client/server, mainframe and PC, as well as system conversions.

The Education Studies Department, provides evaluative, economic, and policy analyses of education programs and policies for the U.S. Department of Education and other federal and state education agencies. These studies can involve assessment of program impact, program implementation, costs and benefits, or all of these areas. Recent projects include work on the development of the voluntary national test; analysis of the implementation of accrediting agencies standards for postsecondary student outcomes; design of an allocation formula for New Jersey's Department of Education; and exploration of the effects of various financial mechanisms for graduate education on time to degree and career plans. The Environmental Economics Group, provides methods development and applied analyses support to the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency and non-profit environmental organizations.
